@jenn2point0 I understand how you feel. I have mixed emotions about it.
As of now, it’s only Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino. No one else has officially committed, though many have alluded and stated in the past they’d be down for a reboot. I trust her and her vision. Except for Bunheads.
With that said, I love this show so much. I want to know where the characters are. I want more Lorelai. I want more stories. I’m curious to see what new pop culture references will be integrated. But I’m still nervous. It’s currently perfect and frozen in time. If Rory and Jess DON’T end up together, or something equally fabulous, like she’s super independent and cool and awesome, great. But if it’s something else, I’ll be pissed. I’m confident they will. But. There are people who pull for Logan or even Dean (blegh).
What also made Gilmore Girls so special, was the town and all the secondary and tertiary characters… Will they all come back? Y'all, Richard is DEAD, and I don’t think I’m prepared to deal with that… Will Sookie come back now that Melissa McCartney is a big deal?
I’m cautiously optimistic. I will feel better when people officially sign on. I just love it so much. I’m scared it won’t live up to my expectations and the world I’ve created once it faded out.
(Separately, I watched the episode last night where Lane gets drunk off a beer and a half, and I really hope they somehow bring back Adam Brody, because that would be adorbs… Curious what Lane and Zack’s twins look like, too…)

A drunk girl at a bar I was at became worried that I wasn’t getting enough nutrition and proceeded to hold peanuts to my lips and just keep saying “peanut peanut” until I would eat it. And after I allowed her to feed me a peanut she pet my hair and said “Thank you”.
